​I was born and raised in the heart of the hill country in Kerrville, Texas and moved to Houston with my husband Luca three years ago. We have one little girl named Lea. This will be my 2nd year at RCE! I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Learning and Development and participated in a reading specialization cohort while I was there.  My passion is inspiring young learners to fall in love with reading and writing. Currently, I am pursuing my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Reading Specialization from the University of Houston. I am beyond thrilled to be at Rummel Creek and look forward to a wonderful year with your little ones!
